I was very timid when writing about this subject. I think it is a subject that isn't talked about enough. Now that I have done research on the topic and written a few papers on same sex attraction, it doesn't seem as uncomfortable. I now have a pretty strong opinion on it and would be willing to speak about it to anyone. I think that the site shows that my feelings on same sex attraction are always going to stick with what our living Prophet believes. I put much of my faith and testimony into writing blogs. I knew that when someone read them they didn't feel like a horrible person. It shows understanding, and that we are all human trying to get through the trials Heavenly Father throws at us. Since my Grandma is married to a women, I have dealt with this situation before. I think if it were to begin with someone who is not a member it would be harder, just like my grandma. They don't see a lot of the things we see; the eternal plan. If there would be a member of the church who I am close with it would be simpler, because we have all of these resources on LDS.org. We have the ability to understand that Satan is trying to persuade this person to choose something other than Heavenly Father's plan of happiness. I think it is really important for anyone to hear that their friend or family member will love them through all of the good decisions they make. It really make people want to do better in life, knowing that not only will Heavenly Father loves them, but someone hear on earth, who they can go to for help if they are in any situation, will be there for them. I think we just need to spread love, because that's what Heavenly Father does all the way from Heaven and that's the least we can do.
